Exclamation "Mod Friendly" Dealership around bay area / san jose ?

Hey Guys,

I recently put the AHL euro on my e90, the car keeps throwing the error code to me abt the passanger side headlight.

I have found out the problem with the headlight and replace the part already, but still have the error from the car.

My shop just told me i might need to reset the computer and will be fine.

But the dealer I go usually (Valley BMW) is not friendly at all with the EURO, they dnt even take a look of it and just keep me away from the door.

I just heard from a friend who got non-AHL euro for his AHL car, and he told me he got the error code always but he just asked his dealer to hide the code and it does not appear on the screen...is it possible? I asked him who is the SA at the dealership but he just told me the guy is not longer at the position...so just wondering if u guys have any idea?

So just wondering anyone would refer some good SA and dealerships that is "mod friednly" if possible?

All your help is really appreciated, Thanks in advance guys!

CheerS!

I personally dont think such a thing exists. There are dealers more apt to look the other way but im sure none would be ok with a tune blatantly on. my 2 cents

I have the same question, but it would probably be a bad idea to post the answer in a public forum!

you probably just need to clear that code....Go to any shop with a GT1, and they can clear that code as long as the problem no longer exists in that module in your car. OR you can buy a Bavarian Technic tool for about 300 bucks and do it yourself and have a nice diag tool whenever you want.

Good Luck.

P.S. It's always wise to assume that ALL dealers ARE NOT mod friendly.

it's a bit north from where you are but peter pan bmw is okay. ask to talk to kenny specifically and tell him not to let them wash your car too

also ask kenny to be the one driving it so he won't scrape anything. he has a bad ass nsx!

If you go up to East Bay, I know of a few SA's that could possibly help!
