Luckly the only blowout ive ever had was on a front wheel drive toyota, and it was the rear wheel that blew

Hardly knew something was wrong, till i started to slow down a bit and then the tread came off. Cars started fishtailing a bit, but I could stop quite quickly.

Dont know what would have happened if it were a rear wheel drive car or if it was one of that cars front tires that went.

That's scary stuff. I'm actually a fan of the RFT, but I do think they have a way to go on the technology. I would bet that in less than 10 years they will be OEM on all cars.

I have now rotated the tires, and after a quick test drive all seems fine. I figure I can always switch them back if I want to.
