HELP! Little blue stars driving me nuts!!!!

OK, I'll get over it, but what ARE the blue stars in map mode with "i" turned on? Are these points of interest? Busineses? What are these things. The manual doesn't even acknowlege them. Dying to know. What are these thing really? Are they even useful to you guys?

When you turn "i" on you see the results based on the last search for information. If you last searched for a nearby restaurant you'll see knives, or martini glasses if you looked for night clubs or bars, etc.

If these icons bother you, just go to the left side menu in the map and click on "i" again to disable.
