LF: Summer Wheels and opinions

What do you guys think about gold on alpine white for new summer wheels. Not looking for a bright gold to take away from the look of the car but a more subtle one which will blend cleanly with the car, where do you guys think i can get replica's like these, one picture is of bbs and the other are dpe, not looking for real ones since my parents drive my car sometimes,
Thanks

your first pic is not bbs wheels, it's a rep of bbs wheels already, it calls Linea Corse Leman from wheeldude, you can check the vendor section to get the price!!the second, i don't think it's DPE either, hahaha...because the wheel cap doesn't look like DPE to me!!!you can always check on vendor section to see all the wheels that you are looking for!!

its a hard look to pull off and even then it works much better on coupes IMHO. Id go with same wheels in gunmetal and polished lip (if you must hae polished lip!!).

thanks for the quick replies, but yea i realized the first is already a rep of bbs, but the second are custom dpe's produced for a project 1 series car that i found. I was thinking about those gunmetal or black as well but just figured i haven't seen a lot of gold and AW and do think it does look good on coupes. Probably wouldn't be as hard to integrate as my interior is beige as well so it will kind of pick up on the colour tones easier than a black interior

Search the vendor --> wheels / tires forum; there's plenty of choice and lots of photos of what's on offer. There are not a lot of local vendors to choose from with regards to replicas though, so you're probably looking at getting something imported from the States.

I'm curious about the rationale in getting replicas because your parents sometimes drive your car though. If it's your car, get what you want. If they curb the rim, get 'em to pay for it to be fixed.

hahah..my mom drives my car sometimes, and she curbed my rims before too, but they just won't pay you to fix, because they don't think it's a big deal!!sigh!!!

yea i would rather not go through the hassle of getting my parents to pay me back even though i wouldn't ask for money from them anyways and plus real bbs' costs a heck of a lot more than replica's although i know there is the quality factor of bbs opposed to replica's
