Just got news on 335i chip!!!
Came from "Tire Empire" in NYC for my tints on my 335i coupe. I know I've told none of you about the car yet or pics, but I'm setting it up still, just wait. They gave me 35% tints for $200 even ( computer cut, so they had to download the new 335 window templates ).
ANYHOW... A guy there, Deemo, mentioned that there's a chip coming out soon that will boost 335i by 75 horses. It opens up the exhausting power he mentioned. He also mentioned the chip is undetectable by BMW so you won't lose your warranty's and it can simply be put in and taken out for service.

But really it is just a wild guess... and until that company is announced and provides before and after dyno graphs... I would not expect much. Plus if it's a chip.. aka flash.. the dealer will notice. |

Do you think I can take my 335 to that place for $200? They already have the computer cuts for the new coupe???

Probably EVOtech's Chip
He was probably talking about the 335I EVOtech ECU Upgrade from Dyno-Comp. It is listed on their website that it will boost the car to 375HP. Unforunately members of this board havent had good experiences with dynocomp. I would be very careful.

I'm taking my 335i sedan to Tintmax, Inc this weekend to get my tints done.
Computer Cutout: $180 Clear Bra: Fr Bumper, extended hood, fenders, mirrors, headlamp covers + fogs, Rr bumper. $500 Clear Bra: All 4-doors $120 TOTAL: $800 Good bargain I would say, since the dealership charges $990 for the clear bra w/o the doors and rear bumpers. |

BTW...in a newly published road test, Car and Driver magazine reports achieving a 0-60 time of just 4.8 seconds. Also, according to Automobile Magazine, they dyno'd the 335i at 275 & 300 lb-ft wheeled HP. They retested just to make sure and this time they reported 287 wheeled HP...that's approx 367 HP stock! I love my car and I can't wait until I pass the 1200 miles engine break-in period, so I can gun it! I would love to see a G35 Coupe f@#* with me now...haha
