Now, that's good news. Certainly worth an update!
I understand the Procede software doesn't show the error messages. Does it delete just engine related codes or everything? I am asking because I assume that most people would like to see the error messages before deleting as codes are important for diagnosis. I already ordered the BT tool and couldn't care less, this is just for clarification. I'm not sure whether there is a limited # of code deletes or even a counter. Maybe someone can shed a light on this too. However, excellent job! ![]() |

But with functional CANbus integration, the next step is going to be enhanced data polling/logging. Which which basically address a piggybacks shortcoming of only being able to read data available from its limited number of input. And with all the new input data (ignition advance, coolant/oil temps, actual throttle angle, calculated cat temp, ignition advance, etc,.) we'll be able to implement features/maps that could otherwise be implemented. Things like auto-tuning, smart valet, warm-up maps, etc,. We should also be able to read codes. But we don't expect to provide anything close to the diagnostic functionality of the BavTech software. That's well beyond the scope of our goals. But for basic diagnostic functions, the PROcede should have you covered. And we're also going to release source code for the user software so third party software developers can build custom digital dash/viewing/logging software ![]() Shiv |

When I say "what map the customer wants", I'm mostly referring to nonDoomsday vs Doomsday maps. With a mechanism in place to clear tuner manipulation codes, customers are no longer constrained by the roadblocks implemented by BMW, both current and future. Simple as that. With no land mines to tiptoe around, the better the tunes will be.
Plus, with the ability to recognize now (courtesy of CANbus integration), we'll make it pretty darn difficult for a user to do something really outlandish/dangerous. That's always been our primary focus from the start (limited user adjustable ranges, boost limits, wg dc limits, leanrun triggers, etc,.) Shiv |

One thing to note, Shiv, if you haven't already done so -- You might look into ECE certification for the Procede.
I was involved with another project which did only data acquisition on the Powertrain CAN, and our Lawyers required that we have circuitry in place to prevent transmission on this network *OR* get an "e mark" from TÜV. Keep up the good work!

Your missing some glocks there buddy. My glock 23 and all glocks have the trigger safety. Plus, if you need to use it why mess around with a physical safety switch when you can just pull the trigger.
