What kind of spots are these???

My buddies car has all these spots on the rear of his car. My regular camera wouldn't capture it , so i tried the iphone and the spots are decently visible. I tried ISP 50/50 but didn't work + vinegar/water and nothing happened so i guess they aren't water spots. So what are they , and what will take them off?

Looks like water spots to me. Might just be deep enough that you need to polish them out.

Sinister - where are you in FL? I'm in Tampa and could make quick work of the removal if you're close.

Have you tried any polishes by hand? Or like ScratchX? It might just be enough to take that out.

+1 Those are hard water deposits or etching.
