Try the collision center at BMW of San Diego: http://penskecollisioncenter.com/
It's a Penske company and they are BMW Certified. Penske also runs a top notch dealership. Very, very customer centric. I highly doubt you can go wrong. Good luck. I'm going thru the same thing in LA. Jim |

penske
i got my e90 325i repaired there (basically replaced all the outter parts in the front end) they made it look almost exactly the same, no gaps, paint blended in pretty perfectly and i am pretty anal about this stuff too but i hope insurance is paying for it for mine their estimate was twice as expensive as the other places haha hope it helps |

If you just want to do paint blend-in jobs on your bumper or other parts in general, then BumperDoc is pretty good. They do work on Bimmers, Benzs and Porches and have very good service as well. They also back their work with a life time guaranty: http://www.bumperdoc.com/
If you want to go to a pure body shop, then the best in San Diego (in my opinion) are: 1. Amato's - http://amatosautobody.com/ 2. West Coast Specialities - http://www.westcoastspecialties.net/...es/index.shtml 3. Philip Thearle's Autowerks - http://www.ptautowerks.com/index.html 4. Chapparone - http://www.chapparoneautobody.com/ 5. Brecht BMW Body shop - http://brechtbmw.com/Department-Body-Shop.aspx It's hard to say which one is the best. I believe all of these shops have excellent reputation. I always see Bentley's, Ferrari's and Lamborghini's at Amato's... I know because I work very close to where Amato's is. I'm sure the other shops have similar customers as well. PS: Try to avoid mobile repairs, they're bunch of hacks IMO. Go to a decent place with a clean facility and paint booth and spend the money (if insurance is not paying). It'll be worth it. Good luck!
