Yup... that's me. It was originally an all-ages event. Considering it was march break... I thought I could do something during that time frame.

The response wasn't that great and it was coming down to the wire. Switched up the patio to a 19+ party.

Besides, the patio where I always go when I hit up Mink. I think I've stayed downstairs maybe twice in my entire tenure there

one time was just random... another my favourite bar-girl was serving downstairs for some bizzare reason.

Fridays and Saturdays are already exclusive to other promoters / businesses.

For me to tap into that realm, I need to "prove" that I'm capable of taking on that task.

Also, there was another alterior reason behind picking the monday... when this was originally setup as an all-ages event (due to march break for highschool peeps), the main promoters for all ages events are UT Events and 4D Events. UT is doing their march break thing on the wednesday night (the 18th) and 4d is doing theres on the friday night (20th).

I wanted to have first crack at their clientelle by hosting it on the monday.

I took a leap of faith on this... and it wasn't panning out. So I had to come up with Plan B to try and recover the costs... a booty shakedown contest lol. I've had MUCH better response to this then the all-ages attempt.
