2008 335i  [0.00]
i've had experience with them. they're not bad for what they do. basically keep the car stock until its time to run somebody then open the cut-off. serves its purpose. usually its right after the downpipes but isn't the exhaust on the n54 setup with two pipes? so u would need two to make it work right.

no not if they are welded on. thats why id be reluctant to doing it to the stock exhaust (unless you don't care)

if i was to do it. i would but aftermarket downpipes and have the exhaust cutout modified to those if possible. so u can go back to stock if u wish.

www.quicktimeperformance.com also makes cutouts
