Real Noob ?
Do these CAI void our warranties with BMW. I would'nt want to have to take this thing out every time i went to have work and the computer would have to show better air flow. Tks for Patience... I guess im asking what do you guys with the CAI's do. I mean if you used a drop in would that Void also?

As far as "will this mod void my warranty" goes:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66970 I take my car in for service with an intake all the time, no problems. Depends on how anal the dealer is. |

Ive had an intake in all my cars. I've never had an issue with high dollar warranty work on any of them.
Better to be safe than sorry and don't come whining to the forums if they void your repair due to it... But I'll be leaving mine in for service/warranty work unless it's something huge. |

I take mine off any time I'm getting service work. The dealer can definitely deny your work if he chooses to with the CAI on. If by CAI, you mean DCI then it only takes about 30 min to take it off and put stock back on, taking your time.
