Right! It's not like we want to drive around all over the place without a seatbelt. I just don't want to hear that damn chime when I'm not wearing my seatbelt for a minute or two, while I'm getting tha mail or something.

Problem with this is that it's just as annoying having to stick something in the slot. Might as well just put the seatbelt back on. I'm an adult, I know that a seatbelt can save my life, so I'll put it on WHEN I'M READY. I don't need my car telling me what to do.

In Russia, almost everybody do not wear seat belt, I can't understand that, it's YOUR safety! And your family! In Russia we have this joke, i'll try to translate:

Policeman tell to victim in road accident: You do not wear seat belt, and now you have fracture ribs, hands, etc.... and look to your friend - he wear seat belt and it looks like alive.

Sorry if I can't explain exactly what I want to tell

Doesn't it have to be metal to close the circuit?

I hate seatbelt chimes.

on my dad's E60, he used only one bronze wire to achieve the same purpose...
really no need to cut anything, you just need to bent the wire into a hollowed T shap and plug it in.

I wear seatbelt all the time since I'm kind like used to it....

To those of you who don't wear your seatbelts, I just want to pop in here and say that you're morons. OP, good luck. I'm glad that annoying chime isn't there to annoy you anymore.
