If you're looking for a tire/balance shop in Socal...
Check out Tire Central in San Gabriel, ask for Donald. He was recommended on these boards by a forum member and he did some mount/balance work for me this past Friday and I have nothing but great things to say about his work.
This is especially for people who are anal about their wheels. He treats your wheels as if they were his own, making sure not to damage them in any way. No air guns, knows how to use a torque wrench properly, and takes care when removing/mounting tires. They use Hunter machines for mounting/balancing, which was another huge plus for me. Anyways, just thought I'd share this info with people that are looking for a good, local tire shop to take their wheels too. Tire Central (San Gabriel, CA) 626-698-1182 |

It will depend on what you need done. From what I had done, I'm estimating mounting and balancing to come out to around $40 for a set of wheels.

Quote:
Mounting the tires on the wheels, balancing and then mounting the wheels on your car correct? Not just Mounting the wheels with tires already mounted. . . |

$40 is a very reasonable price. If anyone in OC needs tire mounting/balancing feel free to come by our warehouse. Except that the wheel/tire needs to be removed from the car before it gets brought in, or else the city gets mad at us

Yep, Paul. Mounting tires on wheels, balancing, then mounting to your car. That should be about $40, but don't quote me on that.
