Nebster Detailed: Seth's Udub 328xi

Well This car pushed me to the limits. Upon first inspection i thought this car would be a simple job. After a panel or two i found out that a simple job turned into a beast of a job. Either way I got the pleasure of trying out some new swissvax blau on this car and i love it. Ok here is a rundown of everything. total detail time was around 18 hours

wash:
CG CWG 1oz/1gal
CG blue clay
CG SQD
CG Green all purpose cleaner
CG window cleaner
about 5000x q tips
P21S TAW
P21S wheel cleaner

swissvax penu
swissvax leather cleaner

Paint Correction:
Flex 3401
Blackfire compound
Blackfire finishing polish
Blackfire gloss enhancing polish
LC yellow pad
LC white pad
LC black pad

CG jetseal 109

swissvax Blau

Ok to the pics:

I don't have a lot of pictures but there they are. There were some deep scratches and swirls that i couldn't get out but overall i'm pleased with the outcome

its pretty good, i miss my rotary though, Stupid movers lost it on the way and i heard a lot of good things about the 3401 so i went with it. I'll probably sell it soon, but its pretty good, MUCH better than a 7424 imho

haha i use a canon rebel xt and the best thing for those low light shots is a tripod!

i like to apply wax by hand because it gets it nice and warm and you can really spread it out very thin but still get a nice even coat.

Wax wasn't hard to remove at all, i didn't apply much on it, just looks that way with that picture.

Looks great. My car, also JB, took a beating this winter and looks as bad(if not worse) as the before pics. I'm hoping my detail in a couple weeks will yield good results too.

Nice pics Nebster, but leaving polishing pads and detailing cloths on the the ground is a no no.If one of my towels falls on the ground it goes strait into the dirty cloth bin and I would never leave pads on the floor.I always put them on the windshield away from any dirt.Other than that great job.

everything on the ground is dirty and will be washed.

the microfiber i use to clean off the polish is always in a zip lock bag. believe me i'm more anal than most people and wouldn't ever do anything to introduce more contamination into the car. expecially one thats not mine.

i've been doing this for years, but thanks for the tip.

+2. Just over at his house last night and his garage looks like a store! Big props to Nebster!
