Yes, the Angel Eyes are driven off of a separate bulb than the headlights. This thread is about replacing the halogen AE bulbs with a customized LED bulb that is brighter and whiter than stock. The stocks are fairly yellow (sallow and jaundiced). Lux 5.0 is the version of this custom bulb that is whitish, and Lux 4.5 is a similarly bright bulb that is a bit bluer. I believe Lux 5.0 was developed to match the color temperature of the stock xenon headlights.

I have LCI halo which comes with angel eyes.
does Lux 5 work?

hey, i was just wondering if the LUX 5.0 was compatible with e92s.... cause i went on the namotorsports website and it seems it's only available for the e90s.... is that true?

sorry, no the LUX right now only works with the 06-09 PRE Lci model e90 sedans.
I am working on something to work for the Coupes, the LCI Xenons, the new 5 series, the 1 series, etc.

this is not the same as 09 lcis right? LCI can be accessed by removing the warranty decal under the hood?
