Fragile rear bumper clips?
I got rear ended a few weeks ago - very lightly tapped which left screw imprints and a few scratches on my rear bumper. I took it in to get repaired (they figured it'd be a quick repair and repaint) but when they tried to remove the bumper all of the clips on both sides broke so they had to replace the whole bumper. in the end the other guys insurance paid for it so it worked out fine for me - but seems odd that all the clips would break from such a minor collision.
have you guys heard of this happening a lot (its an e90) or were the techs at the auto body place just careless?
