anyone use langka?

well i was going to wet sand my car after repairing some chips but i got scared because i've read some horror story of when wet sanding goes wrong lol. Anyway I've heard of langka awhile ago but never used it and just placed an order for the complete chip repair. so has anyone have experience with this stuff?

i used it to repair a bumper scratch on my wife's car that was probably 2 mm deep and about 4 inches long (garage door handle closed on it). i used Kragen touch up paint to glob it up then followed the langka instructions to remove the excess. the removal solution worked too good the first time and i removed too much paint. i then waited next day to redo but i could never master the paint removal process to line up the touch up with the original paint. it didn't blend very well and i was disappointed. hopefully you get better results.

I haven't used it but heard good things about it the kit. I have used the Dr. Colorchips kit and it was very user friendly.

I have a Langka kit that I've been meaning to use for a few rock chips, but I haven't got to it. I've read up a lot, though, and e90dream's experience is typical -- people tend to remove all the paint from the chip rather than just the "blob" part. From what I've read, for best results you need to be very gentle with it and let the paint dry for a week or so before you remove the top layer.

If you try it, let us know you it worked for you. The more information on the Internet about it, the better.

It's not too bad. Dark cars tend to give better results. Metallics tend to lose a bit of flake when using the Langka to remove the blob. Also, on my white 540 the Langka turned the touch up a greyish color. I had better results letting the paint dry a few days and then hitting it.

langka is OK...usu you don't remove enough and there's still the "bump" from the repair spot. Don't let the new paint dry too long before langkaing
