Updated CIP

I got my car updated to the latest CIP today an now it does not recognize my disc. Does anyone know if the latest CIP (Im not sure which number) requires a different NAV DVD??

Strange

Go back o the dealer and have them see if the latest Nav DVD works, if it does, tell them to give it to you for free, if it doesnt, then they have to reprogramme the car again

Ok just got back from the dealer. I took my original 2005-1 disk and my copy of 2006-1 and showed them the original did not work. I also showed them the 2006-1 copy did not either. They put in a disk labeled 2006 Professional (no-1 or -2 on the end of the 2006 like previous). It worked. I think its terrible that BMW expects me to buy a new copy after they performed a recall and updated my CIP.

Does anyone have a european copy one that just says 2006 not 2006-1???

I noticed my menus have changed. Is it possible they uploaded the european version? I noticed the contact #s are to Germany.. I attached some pictures of the new screens. My car was a pre-sept model.

Well i dont know whats wrong with my two discs. I found someone with a burn and he made me a copy and it works fine.. very strange.
