2 limp mode within 2 weeks?

Hey guys, well this is my second limp mode within 2 weeks, both happening under 20-50% throttle, at around 3-4.5k rpm on the highway.

I never had any probems with my car for the past 2 years, no limps ever.

Been running atune for a while now aswell never had any issues with it over 10k miles.
I have around 14k miles on my car, original HPFP and everything, nothing replaced or broke.

Any idea what this can be given the conditions in which they are happening?

do you know what the code is? If not, you should invest in a BT scanner.

No i do not, i might just bring it to the dealer soon if it keeps coming up, or get someone to scan my car if they would be so kind to with there bt cable.

Just testing waters if anyone else had these conditons happen to there cars. so i can get a idea.. HPFP?Plugs?Vanos unit?

P.s. shut car off, runs awesome after. during limp, drives smooth and idles smooth. not shaking.

I have actually had something similar happen over the last week or so. The car runs great otherwise, and it is not throwing any codes (at least that I can read on my code reader - I don't have the BT Scanner.)

I am going to try a different brand of gas and see if that helps.
