Hood ding ding
Hi
Today, I was driving from SFO to Sacramento. Something looks like a bearing, actually it was broken away from another car, was bounced on the highway and hit my 335 bimmer's hood. A deep scar is on the hood now. Do you guys have any idea? What should I do? Service or insurance can cover it? |

great excuse to upgrade and get a new hood.. not worth reporting to insurance and not covered under service warranty.. sorry to hear, all you can do is put it behind you and have fun selecting a new hood

Holy crap, looks like someone threw a hatchet at your car. I would have to agree with the carbon fiber hood idea, insurance would be a hassle plus a $500 or $1k deductible I assume and then they would jack up your rates to cover their cost over that deductible within a year or two.
