Rockford IBeam
Anyone thinking of adding one of these to their system? This is a modified to Rockford spec version of the Sonic Immersion product.
I've used Aura Bass shakers in the past and they worked really nice. The size of these makes it possible to replace at least one of the under seat subs. The key to making these work efficiently is making sure it's mounted solid so that it can vibrate the floor. My Aura's needed tightening up every so often. I'm really debating getting one of these right now to add that really deep bass extension that I'm missing right now without adding a big sub. But I don't think replacing one of the subs is a good idea because they are also used in midbass and these generally don't do midbass too well. So possible location for this might be somewhere on the hump under the center console if that's possible or on a floor location like near the passenger footwell. Not sure how well this would work in the trunk...
