West German BMW & ordering E90 Mtech

Just thought I would let you guys know, that West German BMW in Ft. Washington will order/paint/install the OEM M-tech kit for any E90. I just got a quote the other day for 2100 plus taxes for the whole kit. I had no idea that they did this & was about to order it from tischer or Long Tran, but I think this is gonna save me money in the end & its going to be installed by BMW.

Otto's in Exton will give you a better price on the M-tech kit. They accept BMWCCA membership discounts (it's really close to Tischner's price).
I had my front end installed at Cavallo on Rt.202 in Chadds Ford. They do phenominal work.

No Offense, but west german bmw is the WORST dealer in the area by far.
Be careful, they are NOT mod friendly either

i have dealt with 3 Dealerships in the area, West German, Thompson, and Devon-Hill. Basically, i have had 4 bmw's devon-hill is a bit far, so i havent seen them in many years, but they were great as far as sales/service. I became loyal to thompson, and purchased my 335i through them, but when getting my 528i, my CA gave me a not as good of a deal compared to west german. west german seems to be ok and i am pleased with them so far.

Hey thanks man. I will give Otto's a call and see what it costs. I think I drove by Cavallo on my way to work a few times. How much did you pay for paint & labor?

I called Otto's today in Exton and they charge $3300 for the kit painted and installed ... $1200 more than WG.

how much jsut for the mtech rear??

PS. I hated Devon Hill BMW by the way, and I just live around the corner!! They literally ignored me when I was shopping for my car last year...

I went to Mainline and received no BS offer and got my car under invoice last year on a brand new arrived E92 with about 7 miles.

Wait, you own that car wash place off of 309?? My parents live right down the street from there. I go there sometimes and my buddy Wayne lives there on his days off!

How much does a full detail cost?

Yep, that's me! Thanks man. I'm really not taking it out much this winter. Are you the one who's been coming to my Glenside Location and washing in self-serve? Where'd you get your tint it looks great?

My family owns the one off 309/turnpike in Ft. Washington. I'm at the one in Glenside most of the time, on glenside ave. between Easton Rd. and Limekiln pike. They are all called "Clean Machine Car Wash"

Complete detail including the engine is $175 for cars- $195 SUV's
Without engine it's about $130-$150
** These are GLENSIDE location prices. Ft. Washington prices are slightly different

these details include orbital polishing of scratches/swirls? I may drop by if so. I remember you pm'ed me a while back when I was asking if anyone lived around my area. We should all meet up and do a mini-meet or something when the weather gets warmer. Friggin always snowstorms the day after I wash my car. I think I spend like $40 a week washing my car this winter.

Keep that up and I'll be ordering an M3 soon

Yes, they do include polishing/scratch removal/compounding. My detail guy has been with me for over 15 years. If you want to swing by, he can take a look at it and let you know what scratches will come out and which are too deep.

I bought my 2007 328xi coupe at West German and have had a great experience with them. I haven't tried any mods yet though.

Mtech

Why dont you check the price on the Paul Miller BMW site. They have an auction for parts on EBay and the kit usually runs about $1025. I talked to JMK and they will paint and install it for $1500.
