Radar detector with tint??

Hey all,

I have had a Valentine1 for a while now and it works great. I got the car tinted, and now the arrows are acting funky.

The thing is, I didn't get metallic tint. Or at least, I didn't pay for metallic tint, I paid for F1 Pinnacle to avoid these sort of issues.

I'm starting to think I got screwed by a bait and switch. Anyone able to put my mind at ease?

I have the semi-metallic type tint with mine and have had no issues. My old car as a full metallic 3-m with no issues as well. I know it doesnt help your issue, but it could be something more then tint?

The tint was the only new thing in the car. Maybe it's just in need of a tune-up, sometimes the V1 is like that from what I read.

Long shot -- anyone with a V1 in the Phoenix East Valley? PM me so I can do a test with your detector maybe
