What's the MOST comfortable coilover setup with height adjustment for E92?

Those are my requirements: must be at LEAST as comfortable as stock (and I mean really, as comfortable as stock ZSP, cause I know that gets tossed around a lot), and must give me ride height adjustment. I'm looking to lower the front a bit, and maybe even the rear, but also be able to set to stock ride height for winter.

I've read about problems with some KW suspensions (creaking, and such), preference would go to a suspension with no known issues.

Sorry if this is a repost, all the data I could find from searching seems to apply to the E90. I'm not sure of the suspensions are 100% the same.

Thanks

FK Silverline X coilovers has my vote...Ride is 100x better than stock and handling is night and day...Price is unbeatable for quality coilovers that are made in Germany for our German made cars....Gives you height adjustability and dampening adjustments...I have NO creak, cracks or chirps whatsover...I have the coilovers installed over 2 months and loved it.

I have been happy with the KW V2s. They are height and compression adjustable and I have them on my 135 as a daily driver and on Jon's 335 as a daily driver. I find them to be stiffer than factory so you do feel the road more but they are very smooth when compared to other aftermarket options. They also have a great range of adjustment so you can dial it in based on how low and stiff you want.

V3's would probably be even more comfortable nick, you could adjust the rebound jusssttt right so that driving your car felt like a day in the hospital on morphine.

FK is made by KW - or at least they used to be?

v2's are rebound adjustable

v3's are independent compression and rebound adjustable.

i installed kw street comforts last night - they use a near linear rate spring, and are rebound adjustable like v2's. the lowering is not as agressive as v1-v3. i will let you know in the next day or two how the ride is compared to v1's and eibach pro kit/koni fsd - which i have had both.

Thanks, that's good info. Definitely considering either the V2s or street comforts

well i just finished installing my new suspension/brakes...put my non rft tires/wheels back on...

omfg i am a pig in shit. i could not be happier with the street comfort system. had i known about this system a year ago i never would have tried the v1s or the koni fsd/pro kit.

the drop is still pretty significant over stock! looks very very good. i might even raise it up a bit from where i have it set right now.

the car rides like a dream. taught but very well controlled.

this is probably a better pick for 99% of the people compared to any other kit.

Please factor in people's input with the car they are driving too. 4dr or
coupe. Coupe is already more solid than sedan. So you may feel different
on your coupe than people with sedan. I replaced stock with V2 week ago.

Depends on the road condition and driving style, V2 gives you different feeling
compare to stock ZSP. Low speed on rough road, V2 is not as comfort as
ZSP. Simply because of shorter travel, stronger spring, and strong rebound
resistant of the V2. And you can not change the setting on the fly.
A short travel shock is in no way can compare comfort with a long travel
soft spring in low speed. Period.

KW shine when you bring up the speed and handle the car more aggressive.
In this case ZSP loose it position become completely hopeless.
Try to pass a turn with bump in the middle with some speed and you know
why people want to change their stock. The weak ZSP throw your tail
over bump and make you shit out of the turn.
V2's rebound adjustment give enough resistance of rebound to press the tire
tighter against ground. With factor recommended setting I simply feel the
tire is glued to the ground when I am at 100mph. Lane changing is like
gliding with ice-skate. No kidding.

I guess that's why they have electric damping control to suit for both world.
Too bad we don't have enough owners to give feedback of them.

Anyway now I can set the V2 to the height I want and still get a decent firm ride
at low speed and become a cheetah on freeway. Since you want to close to
ZSP, I suspect the street comfort may suit you better than V2. But I have
no experience with it. As I know S C may have limited lowering range on E92.

Are the street comforts just springs or coilovers?
