inside door handle stuck in my car
took my baby seat out last night so i could fit more people in, as i had a babysitter, the back door wont open you can pull the the handle all you want but no good, it will open from the outside, thing is nobody use to open that door as the baby was that side so it could of been done ages ago, now bmw warrenty is out i have extra bmw cover but i have to pay the first £100 which seems silly, is this a easy diy for the E90 to do

That's not for the child lock... that's for the airbag lock isn't it ?? Isn't there a little lever on the rear door, by the door catch on the door itself, that activates a child lock?? There used to be on the old cars...!!

even if you dont have the key switch on side of dash,,
the rear doors have a small tab so they cant be opened from inside, slide it up or down and try to open. or compare with the inside of the opposite door. the tab is only seen when the door is open |

jjbirch...
nil points for that one mate. I think every four door car since about 1979 has had child lock tabs on the rear doors!! When I was a child, my mums old peugeot something had them, I used to flick them up when they let me in, so I could confound them and let myself out! (annoying child?) no jokes about them being adult proof too ;-) |
