Mite46, just goto www.realoem.com and select the car model of your interest. In addition, you can select the M3 model and see its teering wheel column and compare it to e9X. The sky is the limit with the realoem site. I think that's what ksfrogman is trying to tell you with his photo

actually i wanted to see the teeth on the steering column...it's not something that realoem will give you...It should be compatible with the M5 wheel...we shall see =)

Thanks! those are exactly the pix I wanted...there's no seperate control module like that in the M5...so its not going to be a strait swap...plus the column wiring is on the top instead of the sides...
