I paid to get my oil changed at 7500 mi. I got it changed for free at my one year anniversary with about 16000 mi. The dealer did not reset the computer either time. So now I have 18000 mi and the car is calling for an oil change. The dealer will pay for this one, or at least that is what I was told when I was last in. But, it seems silly to go in and get the oil changed with only 2000 mi since the last change. But if I delay 4000 mi or so am I jeopardizing my warranty?

I would say take it in and let them change it to have on records! Remember the FOB holds more info than we know so best to have them do it and make sure they reset the computer or maybe ask if they can just reset the computer now.
