chaotic RFT

got the tire pressure warning the nite b4...tried to make an appoint yesterday but all booked...dealer says as long as i dun exceed 80km/h i can go for another 100 kms...tire doesn't even look flat

got worse last nite...car began to shake like how planes sometimes are on runways....tire shredded on my way to dealer...pressed the SOS and got roadside assitance to call me a flatbed...by then i prolly had less than 150 extra kms on....and i thought most RFTs can last another 200-300kms

fortunately i purchased the maintainence plan so replacment is free...however i'm very surprised that dealer does not have one single tire of this kind in stock...and they only have couple suppliers in town...so it's likely they wun be able to get me one till another wk and a half....if they have ta get one across canada...

i hope the rim isn't bent or alignmenet messed up towards the end when the tire is shredded...dealer tries to put the blame on me saying "u should've inflated the tire if u were gonna continue driving it" but i wondered if inflating a flat RFT would put more stress to it or not....newayz...i guess if anything's damaged it'll be taken care of....

i also wonder if replacing just one tire woudl cause any mismatched or they shoudl at least replace both rear tires to blance it out....coz i've put almost 40k kms on them already

runflats are rated for 50 miles or 80km at no more than 50MPH
