Help!! Location of locking nut

Can anyone help? Im trying to find my locking wheel nut on an E90 335d. In my old E46 it was in the toolkit attached to the boot lid, but I dont have a toolkit in the E90. Ive looked around and can only see two compartments. First is the battery one, cant see anything else here, the second is under the floor, theres a small removable tray, but nothing here, nor even underneath.. any ideas??

TIA!!

Yea. On the E90, on that very same panel that you removed to get to the battery, there is a false floor on that tray. If you look closely at the shelf, you will see that one corner doesn't quite make it all the way to the edge. Just pry up the felt piece from there, and you have access to your toolkit.

I know that is kind of confusing, but you will see what i mean. You dont have to remove the panel, just look at the shelf on the panel.

In my E90, the locking wheelnut was in the boot, on the ride hand side there is a grey tray that holds your manuals etc. Flip the floor of that tray and it was under there. That was the case in my E90 anyway, good luck

Anyone know where this is on the e92? Is it in the similar little tray?

I was looking for it the other day as was curious as to whether the dealer had given me one or not.

You know, Steve, knowing your profession I'm wondering if you're trying to say something different.
