Exhaust Help Please!!!
Hey guys I wanted to know what you think about this set up. Borla secondary delete pipes attached on to 2 straight pipes running it all the way back to a borla exhaust. Basically its a borla system without the X-pipes from borla. What do u guys think? no cats and reasonator... I'm a bit iffy.
Oh yea another question... what did you guys do with the OEM exhausts after you installed the aftermarkets? I'm thinking about keeping it incase I trade the car in a few years down the road but the exhaust is really heavy and big to fit into any car or truck. Thanks in advance for your help! |

I wouldn't split the factory exhaust into two separate paths. It's there to help scavenge exhaust from each bank (or in this case, the front 3 vs back three cylinders). I once did it on a previous 6 cyl and the result SUCKED. It tweeted like a bird and you could see drops of water moving in and out of the pipes. Yikes!! YMMV. Good luck!

Just re-read your post. Leave the secondary cats, go with the x-pipe (delete resonators) and get the catless DPs.
I might be getting Catless DPs soon. LOL! Not sure if I want the exhaust any louder though.
