Picking up my 328xi tomorrow! What to check for?
Hey guys it's been hell waiting for the car but it's finally here. I was wondering if anybody can provide me with a brief list of what to check for when getting the car. Nav CD version? Dents? What else?
Thanks. |

All that and have your CA explain all the operations of the car. Please post pictures. I have a 328xi on a boat in the Atlantic right now and I have not seen anyone's xi. :rocks:

Here is a checklist from our friends at x5world.com. Not all of it is relevant, but there are some great ideas here. Good luck and congrats!

My E92 328xi also arrives this week. Arrived at the port in Halifax Oct 17th. Montego Blue, cream leatherette MT/Nav/BT-Assist/Sport Pack/18" wheels.
I've seen a 328xi sedan at the dealer but have yet to see a coupe. |

No idea guys. We Canucks are in the dark ages when it comes to tracking our vehicles. We get production numbers and you can bug your CA incessantly for progress but there's no way to do it yourself. That said, its probably a good thing not to get too obsessed with your new wheels.
As far as I can tell, from Halifax, the car is railed to Concorde, Ontario and then trucked to the dealer (20 miles). In Canada it seems that the dealers do the prep, install the extras, etc. (rather than a VDC). Must be why they charge so much more than in the US. |
