If you have sucky cell service or hate having calls dropped, then this is what I did. You can get an exterior antenna and a signal amplifier and you may need an adapter depending on your phone. Each cell service uses different networks so you have to get the amplifier and antenna for your specific network. I have nextel and places that I used to drop I no longer lose signal. The amplifier is made by wilson antenna and weighs about 1lb, there are probably other manufacturers not sure though. Do a google search for wilson antenna and online retailer will come up.
