I picked up my 328xi last week and recently I saw a car that looked identical to mine driving around campus with a temp license plate as well. Today I parked right in front of it so I checked it out. The car's temp plate was started on the 10th, it's got wooden trim, no i-drive, and sports package as far as I can tell. The rims are the stock 16" ones. Was wondering if it was anyone on the forum, cuz I find it kinda cool that theres a nearly identical car as mine driving around. Many of my friends actually mistake it as my car and ask me if I was at a certain location at a certain time and it baffled me for a while.
