how do you get the crap that gets stuck in the microfiber towels out? since the fibers grab just about everything, after washing them and trying to pick them out, there's always some gunk or debris that wont come out of the towel.

throw them out? after a couple of uses i usually just toss them and buy new ones since there only about 3 bucks a towel

Wash then with woolite after every use. After they are done LINE DRYING, go over each one with a lint roller and a carpet brush. They will last a long time if you do this.

If there's just a couple of little things stuck in there, you can usually grab it with your fingernails and pluck it out. If you can't, time to toss them out or relegate them to door sill only use, or some other service where they won't be harming your paint.

It's fine to machine dry your MF towels, provided you clean the lint filter in your drier, you don't wash/dry MF towels with anything but other MF materials, and you aren't a household that uses fabric softener sheets (that stuff contaminates the inside of the drier).

I wash my towels on HOT with Tide Free with only the towels that are for the car. I have enough to do a couple washes with, so I wash them every other week. During the rinse cycle I put in a cap full of distilled white vinegar per towel to act as a non-silicone based fabric softener. Afterwards, they are taken out, folded and left to air dry, then put back in my detailing tub/box to keep them from getting dusty.

thats what i do as well if there still somewhat clean I'll use them for rims or for door jams
