Need help...what software version is this E89X-07-12-515?

I took my car to the dealer to complain about the turbo lag (its a 02/08 built) and the SA said i have the latest lag free version. He gave me a print out, which lists this software version...E89X-07-12-515.

Can someone please tell me what this version relates to? Is this the lag free version? Any help would be much appreciated. thanks in advance.

that's def. not a software number. it's be more like 32.2.1

Your dealer is correct. If you have lag, it cannot be software-related.

Thanks guys. appreciate the quick response. So it seems like i have version 28. so the lag issue is just with version 29?

ya pretty sure it all started with 29.2

Does anyone know how to determine your software version without a BT cable or without going to the dealer? I have an 3/09 build 335xi non i-drive e90. Thanks for your help!

Short answer is: There is no way. An official list of the versions is here:

Your 03/09 build should be 2.32.0 - 2.32.3 (all with the same vehicle data status).
