Just got me a 335i

Hey guys, I just got me a new 09' megara red(purpleish) 335i coupe.. I plan on buying me some zymol wax.. Waxing every weekend a plus? I want to keep this car in TIP TOP shape, also, leather cleaner+conditione, what kind? and how often?

Thanks,
Matt.

for the wax, i'd say wax whenever it's gone. you can check by spraying water on it and seeing if the water beads

for leather stuff, i'd recommend the leather masters trio from detailersdomain. i can't say how often because i've never done any interior detailing before

The chemical guy conditioner smells REALLLY good. Like it's GOOD Stuff! Only thing is if you don't like a glossy sheen, apply thin layers or else it will look glossy. All depends what you want.. As for the cleaner, i haven't really used anything just woolite diluted like some recommended

Congrats on the acquisition of your new baby.

Which Zymol?

You can wax your car every week if you like. Wax on any form of red colour is awesome.

In terms of interior CG is good, I love the smell of Poorboys Leather stuff and I've heard good things about leatherique. For maintenance of my leather I usually hit it with PB's leather stuff every couple of weeks.

Have fun !

For the leather i would say Poorboys Leather Stuff ftw
for a wax i would stay away from otc stuff, but if you dont like buying online get the Meguirs NXT its better than the zymol. if i'm not mistaken i heard turtle wax makes the otc stuff for zymol. if you dont mind buying online then get a carnuba wax from detailed image, like the Poorboys Nattys Red its a lot better than otc stuff and its not too expensive.

every weekend is overkill

i recommend putting the sealant on (z5 i think) after claying the car then top that with the wax (z2?) every 2-3 months.

sealant should go on every 4-6 months.

before you put on new sealant though, make sure you wash your car with something that'll strip all the old sealant off
