Good deal on 2009 328xi? Opinions please.
328xi Sedan
Monaco blue with Saddle brown leather, burlwood trim Base Price : $32,750 Auto Trans: $1,260 Xenon Headlights: $820 Navigation: $1,910 IPOD/USB: $365 Met Paint: $500 Cold Weather Package (includes heated steering wheel): $910 Prem Package: $3,050 Destination: $825 MACO fee: $250 Training fee: $180 Invoice: $42,820 One Indiana dealership is giving me $250 over invoice for a total of $43,070. The Chicagoland dealership/sales associate my family and I have bought 5 cars from, is giving me $400 over invoice for a total of $43,220. I did not mention the Indiana dealership or any "repeat customer" discounting yet. What do you think of these initial offers? This is my first time building a car, and I do not feel confident (yet). I've always purchased a car off the lot. Any strategies or advice? THANK YOU! |

Your venturing into 335i territory at that price. But you do have lots of options...If I had that cash I would go for a more basic 335i, unless you feel you need all of those options.

I hear you can get them below invoice right now as BMW is offering like $1500/$1000 back on coupes and sedans respectively
Which dealerships are you talking about? Levin? |

ni8shadow, I do want all these options and I realize I'm approaching 335i territory...but I'd rather have 4wd and all these options rather than a larger engine. --------- QUESTION: Should I tell the Chicago dealer about Indiana dealer's $250 over invoice BEFORE I ask for return customer discounts? Or vice versa??? Anybody have experience with return customer discounts, specifically when building a car? |

I am not sure man, but my step bro is looking at buying a 335XI and told me BMW is offering some incentives on the 09's. Try searching the internet for them I guess.
EDIT: here ya go http://autos.aol.com/cars-BMW-328-20...and-incentives |
