My dad is an owner of an e90 320i which has a business radio on. As you propably know (he didn't) it does not play mp3s. Now he has already bought an original professional BMW radio-mp3 player but he can not install it!! Does anyone can give me any instructions because I can't stand hearing him anymore!!!!!!!!!

Thank you!!

Read the DIY section or bring it to an install shop. Probably would have been a whole shit ton cheeper to just buy him an ipod and fm transmitter.

Is this even possible? I could be completely out to lunch on this but I thought that the Business head unit had its own internal amp whereas the Professional requires a separate amp out back. This would be a lot more work than DIY.

It can be swapped as long as the programming is the same (analog high or low level). I think that the Business HU is not capable of digital outputs (Top HiFi).

The Professional HU can output all possible combinations.
