i think its help you save your battery life? haha and wont drain it much or something..but i was told to have it but i never install after i took it off..

it also doesnt make your lights dim as much as it would when the beat hit hard.

thats from my understanding but i only pushing it with 500/1 one so i took it off. haha if i had a 1000/1 ill leave it on but the system is too heavy for me

i already bought sws8 and im going to intall it later and amp that up. that should suite my daily needs of music! haha

i think the place i got it installed at used a different clean sweep. my amp already blew lol...upgraded to 1000w already
