tint? (CT/Westchester guys)

i know this topic has been beaten to death already.. i searched and didn't find too much info..

i have 35% on my car now, definitely not dark enough/heat resistant enough.. I went to some small place near me..

i want to get them redone, preferably 27% (which I have heard exists, but is rare), since i think 20% is too dark on a SB car..i'd also like somewhere than can get the rear dot matrix looking better than it does ( i know some places use vinyl which i have heard looks ok too)

what experiences have you CT/Westchester guys had with various tinters? And for those of you with less than legal, problems with cops?

I'm heading into NYC to The Art of Tint tomorrow to throw some 35% huper optiks ceramic tints on my car. I hear they do great work. I'll let you know.

Accross the tappanzee in Nanuet is Sam's Window Tinting. They do great work. I would say absolutely one of the best in NY if you arent looking for ceramic tints.
