MAINE
I just got back from South Carolina.
Maine Roads suck Maine Cops suck hell, maine weather REALLY sucks... oh. I'm getting my sunroof fixed at the ONLY BMW dealer in Maine, and get this. I'm standing next to the Z4 in the showroom, and the asshole CA LOCKS THE F*CKING CAR! Jerkoff. I can walk into any high end dealership in South Carolina and they'll throw me the damn keys! Here, they won't even let you touch the demo with a dead battery! I'm heading back in a week if I can't find work here, and for some reason, RWD is calling my name...

I'd say the roads in Mass are worse than Maine anyday. I used to drive from 128North up to Sugarloaf every weekend. The frost heaves on Rt. 27 heading to Kingfield do suck.

Yeah, Mass roads suck hard. You should SEE some of the roads where I live. I felt really tempted to walk up to one of the six speed traps I saw yesterday (in a town of 12,000) and tell them that if they can have 3 seperate cops out doing this, they are overstaffed and need to repave the fucking roads!

MA seems to have no concept of how to properly maintain roads. Southern NH has a 15 mile stretch of highway ground down, repaved, and lines painted within a week. They work at night in one huge "assembly line" and you really never know they were there aside from the great results.
In MA everything seems to take longer (and the final product isn't as good). I think the difference is that in MA, workers are paid by the hour whereas in NH they're paid by the job (or per mile or something). The work gets done faster since there's no reason to sit around. End rant.
