Honestly it sounds like a HPFP. My experience tells me that you probably also have a bad injector or two plus some fouled spark plugs.

Sounds like a fuel pump. Let us know what happens with the BT scanner and the results of it.

you removed JB+ and reversed, so now clear the codes and bring to dealer. that's all you can do and i honestly i think you'll be ok.

White smoke? Isn't that head gasket. Bad plugs/injectors=black smoke...no?

Im sure your fuel pump is one of your problems. Mine just failed about a month ago, studdering, no power, limp mode...Good thing you took off your parts first..Are you going to leave your exhaust on? Least its fairly easy to swap out that part as well..

Good luck but it sounds like HPFP and maybe plugs/injector issue.

I think the BT scan tool is mandatory if a JB+ or JB3 is gonna be purchased.

good luck man and keep us posted

Brian

I think a BT scan tool is necessary for any tune or flash. But +1 on everything else

Wait until you get the BT tool before you go to the dealer. It is possible you tripped a tuning detection code that you will not be able to clear with your friends ODBII tool. Better to be safe than sorry.
