330D P11D
Its that time of the year again. I have a 330d SE auto pre ED. ie 197g/km CO2. Cannot find anywhere to check what the P11d price should be. All the prices online are based on the current model.
Anyone know where I can get that? Cheers. |

Or in brief...... Presumably you had the car from new, so the P11D vehicle value will be the same every year as the first year, and unique to your vehicle taking options into account. If you haven't had it from new you'll need to contact the lease firm / original seller / previous user to get the list price figure specific to your vehicle and options (not price paid, but list price) The Tax % multiplier may change each year, but the car 'value' will not until its 4 years old I think? then its start to decrease. Get the current CO2 based tax % from the HMRC website for 08/09 tax year (unchanged since 07) (Euro IV diesel or not, you have to choose the table for your engine) http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/eimanual/EIM23421.htm And the OFFICIAL CO2 rating for your car from the car tax 'vehicle enquiry' (this is critical, it may be wrong but its what is on the system for your car, not what the brochure says): http://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/ Mulitpy the 2 figures, i.e. 30% x 30K = 9k (minus any contributions you make, if any), and that's the figure you can check against what your comany puts on the P11d. Easy - phew. Last edited by doughboy; 05-14-2009 at 03:37 AM.. |

Cheers for that. The co2 is in the V5 document so emission is pretty clear. However there is no info on list price of cars (+options) for various manufacture year. Don't this change every so often by the manufacturer. I got mine 2nd hand. Anyone bought one new in Sept 2007 and know what the list price is?

Its up to you, the receiver of the benefit, to obtain the list price and be able to prove it if required.
What's the history of the car? Who had it before you, another employee at your firm? Was it bought / leased from new by your current employer or did they buy it 2nd hand?? You need to contact the original purchaser / leasor, they will have the original list price + options on the paperwork for your specific vehicle. |
