Question - Service Scope
Quick question for you guys... would you expect your tyre pressures to be checked under a standard service scope (i.e. during oil services?)
bit of a long story, however before my 900 mile round trip to Sussex, I wanted to check pressures. However I bought some locking dust caps for the valves about 4 months ago which someone has tried to steal and in doing so have damaged them so they can't be removed. I'm going to have to drill out the locking bolt to release them however I noticed this damage before the car went in for it's service however the garage never said anything about having problems checking the pressures. I'm going into the garage for another matter tomorrow, however just wanted to see what your idea of service scope was. I mean I'm sure checking pressures is a very basic task for the garage to do. |

I'd expect them to be checked Pete....one of the simplist and possibly the most important service check!
