Oil level low warning lamp went on?

Hey all,

So this past week I drove from Toronto to Ohio to visit the sis, about a 500km trip.....along the way, my oil level warning light went on, indicating that my oil was at "min", and that I need to add 1L/1qt of oil (which I did) I did boot it from time to time, accelerating to 100mph, one time I took it to about 125mph for like a second, but most of the time i was doing a constant 90mph.

I had my last oil change done about 6000km ago (~3750 miles), when I had the Dinan Stage II flash done. Furthermore, I have actually done all of my oil changes "early", usually around 6-8000km, since owning the car, for about a year now.....I do drive somewhat spirited, but I don't rip the piss out of my car all the time.....but accelerating to speed is somewhat addictive....

I scheduled an oil change in the upcoming weeks (as I was planning to), and mentioned this to the SA to have checked out, and the dude told me that it's "normal" for these cars to require about 1L of oil topped up every 10000kms......

Does that seem right to you guys? Anyone else experience this? I haven't seen any leaks on my driveway, and I had a "valve cover gasket leak/seep" when I bought the car 1 year ago, which I had fixed under warrantly several months ago........

Any other Dinan Stage II guys experience the same thing?

Thanks ppl......

The car runs hot as hell. Probably burning oil. Ripping it 0-125 will having it running extra hot.

Normal. Just add a quart of oil.
