E90 Scratched! Repair Cost?

After having my car parked on the street from Friday night until this morning, I awoke to the following -- no note, nothing. The damage is mostly localized to the R front quarter panel with some spill over onto the passenger door and rim. The linear scratch in the first picture is deep and pushes inwards. Otherwise there's no body damage.

Any ideas on what this would cost to fix? It should be pretty simple, right?

Thanks for all of your help. . .

The cost will depend on the shop you go to, it will require a repaint, which I guess is simple in that you drop the car off, they paint it, and you drive it away. Total cost will depend on how many panels are damaged; a reasonable repaint usually runs ~$300 for the first panel, then $150-$200 for every panel thereafter. The wheel we need to be refinished, that should be another $150 or so.

Unfortunately everything around here is a total rip off. . . I guess that means the whole thing could run $750 or so. So painful.

Thanks for the reply though!

Man, that sucks. I would be sick if someone did that to my car.

Good luck.

I want to visit NY someday but I don't think I want to live there. So many NY members are having to deal with vandalism of their cars and what not. Best of luck with the repair.

Bummer

Just make sure to ask the right questions when picking a shop. Do they use a downdraft booth, do they take the panels off, do they bake them after paint, etc. Good luck.
