Actually those lasers or w/e the cops clock you with are very innacurate, usually clock you ABOVE what you are driving. About like a year and half ago? i was recording my friend driving from the backseat and he was driving a civic with the digital speedometer and it clearly shows on the camera he was driving 49 in a 40 mph zone. Got pulled over and the police said he clocked him going 55 in a 40. Now my friend is arguing and all the meanwhile, I remember to look back at the camera. Show the cop, the cop charges him with a 49 in a 40.

Appear in court and hope that the officer won't show up. You might get lucky, it's worth a shot.
You can also claim that it is usual route going to work or heading home then make an excuse that you didn't notice that you had pass the speed limit, you might get a lower fine. You can also ask for driving school consideration that might avoid you getting points. You can do this online at your own time. Good luck! |

Btw, let me know if you find a way to hide those license plate holes....... I believe by now everybody is aware that our local government are really trying hard to get more revenues due to cut in their budgets. Watch out for the front tints too, esp here in Cali.

I've consistently got a ticket a year for the past 5-6 years. Usually only around 15 over, thank god. I just pay the fines, take my DD class so it won't go on the record, then speed off.
These have all been on the highway which I think it complete bullshit, but whatever. |

easy....hire a lawyer, he or she will help you to "postpone" the case for 18 months and by then whatever points would expire already.
Give $ to the lawyers instead of the govt, I hate tickets and would fight hard. |

Too late for help, what's it going to take for you to slow down before you hurt yourself or worse, hurt someone else?

How long before you get your 3rd speeding ticket?

2 things:
1 - Speeding. NEVER EVER plea guilty and pay the fine for moving violation. If you can afford get a lawyer It definitely pays in long run considering the insurance premium increase overt the next 3-5 years. If you can't afford to hire a lawyer, go to court. Then you have 2 options: a - Talk to the prosecutor and pay higher fee for fewer point ticket b - Do not accept any offer from the prosecutor and ask for a trial. Hope that either officer doesn't show up or officer is not able properly to present the case to the judge and judge would dismiss the case (or maybe reduce it to 15 mph ticket which is fewer points on your licence) 2 - Missing front license. You deserver it 110%. What makes you think that you got some type of privileges that others don't so you won't need to have front plates? If you are stupid enough to think that way you certainly deserver it. |
