its one of those hard to explain things, heh. Like what others have said, just do what your doing, and slowly try and speed things up. You have to find the right balance of throttle input with releasing the clutch, and the speed at which to do both. But if u do a jerk stall, sounds like your left foot is a lil quicker

you won't need to modify your CDV unless you shift fast. like drag racing for example. You WILL notice a big difference if you are a fast shifter.

Its your driving. The clutch delay valve has nothing to do with you being able to accelerate from a stop

u sure about that? I can accelerate from a stop.. i just want to be able to accelerate faster than i do.. like make the car move faster instead of having to wait for it to grab before i can go it takes long to let loose of the clutch from a stop

im bringing my car in to be checked in the morning.. i feel like it doesnt shift smooth enough and when putting it back into 1st when coming to a stop it sounds like it grinds to go into 1st even though the clutch is depressed all the way

Don't put it into 1st unless you are at a full stop or less then 5mph. Use 2nd gear...

If you want to accelerate fast from a stop you may have a rev the car a little. 335 6MTs are a bit under-geared for whatever reason (and the gear ratios are too close together AND the overdrive is far too short for an engine with this much torque. 3k RPM at 80mph is ridiculous for a 6 speed). Experiences seem to vary a little on which gears suck to shift fast but I have the most trouble with 1-2. 2nd just does not behave well unless the temps are warm/hot and I'm very careful. Overall the 6MT in my 335xi is by far the worst shifter/trans combo I've ever driven (of 8 MT cars in my experience).

As a stick newbie, do yourself and your transmission a favor and keep the CDV in.
CDV mod will allow you to make mistakes as you learn.
