coilover suggestions?
i am about ready to purchase coilovers and i just dont have my mind set on what set i want. I want a pretty stiff set up and i will be tracking my car and do canyon runs about twice a week so i dont mind losing some comfort at all. Currently i am debating between hks hypermax III, kw v2, v3 or clubsports but really dont have the money for clubsports... anyways does anyone know how low the hks coils can go. I wanna run a pretty slammed set up but i dont know how low they go??? also any info from you guys on which coilover you think i should go with and why would be great.
thanks in advance! -mikey |

I'm liking my V3s. You can drop them to the point of scraping the bumper... Great on track, lots of adjustment range.

Mikey,
If you are looking for a track oriented coilover, I don't think KW is the way to go. If you do KW, go with the V3s so you can adjust the rebound and compression. However, KW is a softer coilover so I think you will be better suited with something along the lines of H&R. These coils run stiffer than the KWs and are designed for a track vehicle (although they can be driven on the street). The KWs are designed for a street driven vehicle that will see track use and needs the adjustability. |
