Aluminum Trim

Hi - I just got a delivery from BMW on my Aluminum trim but when i open to inspect it, it looks and feels like plastic painted in silver.

Can someone please let me know if this is the case? Thanks

sounds like you got the titan line and not the brushed alu..

Did u order it by number or did the spareparts dept. decide for you

I ordered it with the part number and the back does say "titan". i checked the BMWUSA website and there's only 2 choices for silver trim, Aluminum Trim or Glacier Silver Aluminum Trim.

titan's not even an option for the 335

i have to find someone in my area to compare.

Glacier

Titan

The titan is simply a set option, and is selectable for evey model pre LCI except for the M3 i think

i just hope that could be an option. i'll have to contact my BMW parts person.

Afaik the real alu stuff is fair bit more expensive.
